Frequently Asked Questions
Do you charge to get into the Haunt?
No. We are able to offer the community a free home haunt but we do collect non-perishable foods for the local Food Bank during the haunt.
Can I wear a costume inside the Haunt?
Yes. But we will ask that you take off your mask if you are wearing one. You'll have a much better time if you can see everything! Please wear appropriate clothing. We never recommend sandals, platform shoes, very high heels, brand new fancy clothes or anything else you cannot move freely in or do not want to get anything on.
Can I smoke?
No. There is no smoking allowed inside or outside the Haunt.
What else is not allowed in the Haunt?
We do not allow any weapons (real or fake), pets, alcohol, backpacks, open flame, lighters, matches or food. Also rowdy or obviously intoxicated guests will not be admitted either. Small children must be accompanied by someone. These rules are posted outside the haunt.Anyone not following the posted rules will be removed from the haunt. If anyone is caught stealing the police will be contacted.
Can I take pictures?
We encourage picture taking everywhere except inside the haunt. Our actors are used to the darkness and it just ruins the fun for everyone if you use flash. If you have a camera or phone that can take pictures/video without using a flash or other light, please film away. We also have actors outside the haunt that are more than happy to pose with you in a picture.
Any health warnings?
If you have any health concerns, such as heart, lung or mobility problems, or pregnancy, you should not enter a Haunted House. We use darkness, claustrophobic spaces, , music, sound effects, strobe lights and fog machines in our haunt.
Will anyone touch me?
Our actors are are specifically instructed not to touch the guests. In return, you are asked not to touch the actors. Being a Haunted House and the setting is dark, someone may be bumped into or touched accidentally.
What are the times and hours?
The times vary depending on how many days we are open and the weather. Please see the home page for details on the year's haunt hours. We post them no earlier than October 1st and are subject to change.
